Since that time, the practice has evolved and been relocated to New Hampshire, where patients may be referred for Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, personalized minimal and non-interventional pain management options, as well as other procedures and prescriptions to facilitate improved quality of life through Supportive and Palliative Rehabilitation Medicine.

Modalities Available

THERE ARE MANY NON-PHARMACOLOGICAL OPTIONS TO HELP CHRONIC DEGENERATIVE DISEASE, CHRONIC INFLAMMATORY PAIN AND DYSFUNCTION

Although not exhaustive, North Shore Osteopathic, LLC has the following list of clinical options available as part of a patient’s plan of care (all of which will require some form of consent process prior to performance):

  • Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT)

  • Osteopathic Sympathetic and Parasympathetic Normalization

  • Osteopathic Cranial treatment

  • Mechanical Oscillation and Desensitization Treatment

  • Ultrasound Cavitation

  • Dry needling

  • Prolotherapy (Hypertonic Dextrose Joint injections): absolute contraindications in acute arthritis, bursitis, tendinitis, gout, complete rupture of a tendon or ligament, or rheumatoid arthritis, patients with active infection, cancer, or any other underlying condition that may prolong the healing process or leave the patient immunocompromised. Relative contraindications to prolotherapy include the regular usage of corticosteroids or NSAIDs or current long-term use of opioids, as they lower the body’s immune response.

  • Fascial Meridian Treatments

  • Non-Instrument and Instrument-Assisted Adhesion, Scar and Myofibrosis treatments

  • Vibration Platform Therapy for Neuromuscular Re-Education

  • Green LED therapy for Peripheral Circulation /Intermittent Claudication Pain

  • Multiple applications using Healthyline Platinum 7428 Full Pro Plus PEMF Mat™ including insomnia, restlessness and tremulousness, fibromyalgia, diffuse body pain, diffuse joint pain in upper body.

  • Multiple applications using ICES® DigiCeutical® C5 Model System Applications for acute OR chronic joint and/or soft tissue injury

  • ICES® DigiCeutical® C5 Model System slow continuous Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (scTMS) applications to left prefrontal sites (for right-hand prominent individuals) for depression, anxiety, PTSD and chronic pain - similar to treatment with repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS). The C5 delivers scTMS with a timer that limits the stimulation to 30 minutes (recommended) or 60 min, which is well below the threshold that could cause motor activation and lead to seizures.
