Deborah Levasseur, PhD has been serving NH community residents approaching 20 years and has worked in the field of psychology targeting anxiety, stress, and mood management for about 35 years.  She completed a Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program at the State University of New York at Albany followed by a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Behavioral Medicine within the Psychiatry Department at Dartmouth Medical School in West Lebanon, NH.

Dr. Levasseur specializes in the diagnostic assessment and Cognitive Behavioral Treatment of anxiety and stress-related disorders (e.g., generalized and health-related worry, specific and social phobias, panic attacks and agoraphobia, obsessions and compulsions, post-trauma reactions, depression, loss, and bereavement, etc.).  In addition, she has extensive experience offering Behavioral Medicine (health-related) consultation targeting sleep disorders, persistent pain, weight management issues, and chronic medical conditions. 

She offers motivational intervention targeting behavior and habit change, lifestyle enhancement, and personal performance optimization.  She enjoys helping folks manage life balance challenges and enhancing personal effectiveness within the framework of what clients value most in their lives.  In addition, she has developed unique and effective treatment plans for clients posing many types of presentations such as stuttering, hair pulling, managing the dynamics of family, marriage, divorce, and life as well as business performance coaching.
