Aspects of Care

NORTH SHORE OSTEOPATHIC is NOT your typical medical office through design, but we offer what is expected and required for any Clinical Provider setting:

  • Diagnosis and Assessment: Consultations are instrumental in diagnosing medical conditions, assessing the severity of symptoms, and uncovering underlying issues. They lay the groundwork for the development of treatment plans that are tailored to an individual's specific needs. Ordering, assessing and discussing results of diagnostic testing and imaging are only part of this process. We hope to engage our patients in a team approach. Having multiple specialists evaluate and then share their insight about a patient’s symptoms is the most refined process to determine the ‘key lesion’ or issue(s) that need to be addressed.

  • Treatment Planning: Following a thorough assessment across several disciplines, we intend to collectively craft more holistic and complete treatment plans to optimize outcomes. These plans may encompass various elements, such as medication, supplements, energentic and/or neurohormonal optimization, lifestyle modifications, and/or referrals to specialists including surgeons. By addressing abnormal results or new conditions through our unique interdisciplinary process, we hope to provide our patients more personalized and successful options.

  • Preventive Care: Consultations extend beyond the management of existing health concerns. They also play a crucial role in preventive care. Again, our preference to work together as a trans- or interdisciplinary team can offer guidance on maintaining overall health and preventing future setbacks. Our patients can benefit from our team’s insights into proactive measures for enhancing their well-being .

  • Palliative Care: Timely re-consultation by our Specialists can also hasten initiation of appropriate changes in one’s care plan if or when the patient’s clinical condition deteriorates or worsens. If interested in Palliative Care symptom management or advocacy options - or you would like support during the care process, our team will strive to actively anticipate, prevent, and relieve suffering for all those involved throughout the trajectory of care. We hope to lessen patient, advocate or caregiver grief, fear, burnout or financial distress by offering an environment dedicated to family or individual support.

“Please inquire about any service you feel would benefit yourself or other patients so that we know how we should invest our time and resources so as to provide improved care in the future…”
